'True educators and pedagogues will slowly be forced to attempt to teach transcendence. Various activities, hobbies, events, and classes may touch upon some aspects of an individual subjectiveness, but they often lose their significance if they have not been deeply experienced and understood.

The aim of education in this realm must be phrased in terms of each individual's inner, subjective experience. Unless these inner subjective experiences are known to have occurred and understood, education cannot be said to have reached its true goal."

 ( Deweys 1963 pg48)

''An education which leaves untouched the entire region of transcendental thought, is an education that has nothing important to say about the essence of human life''

( Manas, 1963 in Maslow pg 69)
